Cultivation & production employee

Location: Boskoop

Do you have experience in plant cultivation and know how to keep a production process running smoothly? At De Jong Plant, we are looking for a Cultivation & Production Employee to help with the growing of our garden hydrangeas. This is a versatile role where you’ll assist with various cultivation tasks and contribute to an efficient production process.
 

About De Jong Plant
De Jong Plant is an ambitious family-owned company from Boskoop, specializing in the cultivation of garden hydrangeas. With a strong focus on innovation, automation, and sustainability, we produce a complete range—from cuttings to finished products ready for delivery. We have locations in Boskoop, Stompwijk, and Berkel en Rodenrijs, and together with a team of 25 enthusiastic permanent employees, we cultivate and trade top-quality hydrangeas.
 

What will you do?
In this versatile role, you will be responsible for:

• Performing various cultivation tasks

• Supporting the cultivation team where needed, in consultation with the cultivation manager

• Managing production and accurately recording and processing quantities in the ERP system

• Assisting with order processing during peak periods
   

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a colleague who:

• Preferably has experience in plant cultivation, but is eager to learn if not

• Contributes ideas for improvement and thinks proactively

• Is available full-time and willing to take responsibility

• Holds a pesticide license or is willing to obtain one

• Has some experience in a production environment (a plus), but drive and willingness to learn are most important
